You know these drugs by names like Diazepam/Valum, Versed, Xanex, and more. These drugs can be very helpful in treating anxiety and fear and some pain in our fur kids. They are also commonly prescribed for people. But giving your fur kid one of your pills could send them to the emergency hospital. When used properly these drugs can help our dogs, cats, and horses deal with all kinds of scary situations for them. It is often prescribed in low doses for long car trips, and even given for grooming.
